THE SHADES OF FASHION WINTER 2024

Fashion is the tool that more than any other allows us to express our many facets, our many contrasts. How many versions of ourselves can we show by playing with ever-changing garments, accessories and combinations? Infinite. Fashion puts us in a position to decide who to be; it gives us the chance to bring out a rock and total black soul, bring out that shyer and more introverted nerdy side or flaunt a sexy and intriguing attitude. And the beautiful thing is that the multiple versions of ourselves, although very different from each other, coexist and stand side by side in a varied landscape: our unique, complex and unrepeatable identity.

Shades is MANINTOWN's new Winter 2024 fashion editorial that plays precisely, on the many versions a person can show of himself; a canvas that can be colored with different shades from time to time: shades. Corsets with sensual appeal and black vinyl overcoats are interwoven with looks of a more subdued character, with shirt and sweater above. And again, perforated denim jackets in full street style meet sophisticated eyeglasses. All testifying to how much the individual understood as a single person can conceal multiple sides; multiple shades of self.
